Dear DaySpringers,

This past Sunday was a wonderful time as we heard from our mission partners with Urban Promise in worship and during the spiritual formation hour. A long-time dream has been to have our partners in mission come here to DaySpring to teach and guide us, and it was exciting to the see fruit of years of labor from Urban Promise Honduras. During the formation hour, we dialogued with all four of them about short term mission trips and heard about their own experiences with missionaries and missions. As Urban Promise Honduras expands to a training program for Latin America, we may have the opportunity to partner with Jorge and Carolina in Colombia, as well.

Blair Quinius will return to Waco on Sunday, June 23, and is planning a lunch after church with anyone who would like to visit further about being a part of supporting these efforts or going on a trip to Honduras or Colombia next summer 2020 with DaySpring. You can contact me ( ) or Ben Cox ( ) for  more information.

As the school semester draws to a close for our young people and their parents, good luck making it through field days, recitals, awards ceremonies, and graduation events. We look forward to recognizing our high school graduates this Sunday in worship and celebrating with them during our all-church breakfast.

We will also celebrate on Sunday as Michael Buras will be baptized. Please pray for him this week as he prepares. I am grateful for you and for the good ways I see God moving in our congregation.

With peace,

Congratulations to our 2019 high school graduates!
