Welcome to DaySpring Baptist Church
SUnday Service Times
Spiritual Formation classes - 9:45 am
Worship - 11 am
Like all churches, we have been blessed through the presence of our guests. We are enriched by the people who worship and pray with us, who share their search and longing for God. Our existence and the grounds around the church offer a 'gentle, but profound silence' which is welcoming to the many pilgrims and seekers who find their way to DaySpring. So many times we hear from our guests how the liturgy has spoken to them, how the simplicity and beauty of our Church has opened them to God, and how the stillness of prayer in community brings them to an inner quiet and touches their being.
What to Expect
Many people arrive 15 minutes early prior to the service or come to the Spiritual Formation classes at 9:45 AM. Help yourself to a free cup of coffee when you arrive!
Accessible parking is available near the front doors. Other parking is available in the main lot, behind the church buildings, or in the field.
What to Wear
Our services are relaxed and fairly casual. Feel free to come in whatever you feel comfortable in. We are just happy to have you!
Worship is participatory, through prayers, readings, and singing. Intentional silence is a regular part of our worship.

Children are welcome to join us for Spiritual Formation classes on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the Children's Building. The children are taught about God’s love and the gift of Jesus Christ through Bible stories, songs and creative activities. Care is provided during the worship service for children ages 5 years and younger. The older children are invited to worship with their families.
Undergraduate students are welcome to join in our intergenerational Spiritual Formation classes at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. After worship each Sunday, DaySpring hosts a lunch at the church for all undergraduate students. This is a time for students to fellowship with each other and to get to know others from our congregation in a more intentional way -- and it’s a free lunch!
The DaySpring youth group seeks to prepare students for their lives of faith after high school by creating an atmosphere of fun, fellowship and learning. We hope to help students discern the calling God has placed on their lives and equip them to live that in both faith and practice. All students from 7th to 12th Grade are welcome! We offer a Spiritual Formation class for youth on Sunday’s at 9:45 a.m. and Wednesday night gatherings from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Throughout the year, we offer various camps, retreats and service opportunities for the youth group to participate in.
Everyone is invited to join us for Spiritual Formation classes on Sunday mornings. Classes begin at 9:45 a.m. and meet throughout the DaySpring campus. We are here to help you and your family find your place.
We celebrate communion on the last Sunday of each month and each Wednesday night during Evening Prayer. Everyone who confesses Christ is welcome to participate.
You are invited to come forward by rows down the center aisle to receive communion by 'intinction,' which means we receive the bread and dip it into the cup. You will hear your servers bless you saying, "The body of Christ" and "The blood of Christ" as you receive.
For children or those who have not professed faith in Christ, ministers are available to say a prayer of blessing while communion is being served.
DaySpring welcomes individuals to become members of the church. Membership is an expression of commitment to participation in the life of the church. See our membership page for more information and for a membership interest form.
