The Gospel Cafe, a mission of Cross Ties Ecumenical Church, has been serving the Waco community by providing pay-if-you-can meals for more than 15 years. The cafe provides a sense of security for hundreds of needy residents by offering hot meals and acceptance in an impoverished Waco neighborhood three days a week throughout most of the year.

 

Day Spring volunteers cook a meal and serve about 200 guests on the second Wednesday of each month.
